  32. 1. Question: How do I register?
    ANSWER: Register at AMExchanges.com is FREE and EASY! Simply fill in your basic information, and you will be able to buy and sell at AMExchanges.com right away. Here is the brief information that you will be asked:

    • Create your own login name and password.
    • Your name and contact information.
    • Your company information.
    • The product category that you are interested to receive AMExchanges.com auto-notification.

    You will also be asked to review User Agreement before submitting your information. AMExchanges.com is committed to provide a user friendly and safe environment for your B to B transactions. All user information is protected and will not be given out unless you authorize us to do so. You could always review our User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Legal Disclaimer.

    2. Question: How to post item for sales at AMExchanges.com?

    ANSWER:

    1. Please register at AMExchanges.com.
    2. Required fields in posting item for sales are:
      1. Item title
      2. Category
      3. Quantity and unit
      4. Start price
      5. Duration
      6. Location country
      7. Location city
      8. If break lot sale, min lot size is required.
    3. The general rules when post a selling item are:
      1. Reserve Price is typical higher than Starting Price.
      2. Buy It Now price is typical higher than Reserve Price.
      3. Min. lot size in a break lot sale auction is typically smaller than total quantity.

    3. Question: How to search auction items?
    ANSWER: 1. To search an auction item, start from the search box on the upper left corner on the page. Type in the KEYWORD in our search box to start your search. You could also limit your search within a certain product category, or default to search within all categories. You could also do advanced search by specifying auction Id, seller Id, or item location country. The more information you provided for searching, the more likely you would get the items you are looking for. 2. Browsing over all of our auction items is also supported. Click on Browse Selling and select the product category you are looking for. A list of all auction items within the category would be displayed.

    4. Question: What is the BUY IT NOW price?
    ANSWER: BUY IT NOW price is the price that the seller is willing to sell his or her items and ended the auction prior expiration. If you are the buyer and really want the items and BUY IT NOW price is available on the listing, we strongly recommend you to purchase the item at BUY IT NOW price. Even your max. bid price is higher than BUY IT NOW price, other user may purchase entire quantity of the item at BUY IT NOW price and ended the auction. BUY IT NOW or Reserve Price is OPTIONAL function that sellers can decide whether to include these options in the listing. If the sellers allow break lot sale, then reserve price function is NOT applicable.

    5. Question: What is I WANT TO BUY?

    ANSWER: I WANT TO BUY is a unique feature at AMExchanges.com that enable the buyers to post their purchase requirements on the site and look for potential seller to respond to the ads. AMExchanges.com offers private message board in the I WANT TO BUY section, it allows seller and buyer to communicate each other via AMExchanges.com plat form without disclose its identify or e-mail address, neither other registered users can see the communication.

    6. Question: What is a Reserve Price?

    ANSWER: 1. The Reserve Price is the lowest price an item can be sold for. This amount is pre-determined and is usually higher than the minimum starting bid price. This price is always kept a secret from bidders. To win a Reserve Price auction, you must place a bid that meets or exceeds the Reserve Price. 2. All Reserve Price Auction will also include a Starting Bid. 3. If no bidder meets the Reserve Price at the Auction Closing, neither the Seller nor the high bidder is under any further obligation.

    7. Question: What is “Reserved price not met”?

    ANSWER: if the seller has pre-determined a reserve price for a specific auction, after registered users place a bid on a specific item and did not meet the reserve price, there will be a notation (NOTE: Reserve price not met) under the bidding Information of the current highest bid price.

    8. Question: Why some auction items do not have reserve price?

    ANSWER: Reserve price is set by seller as an option field and this function is not available for those auctions that allow “break lot sale”. The reserve prices do not show to the buyer. A reserve price is the min. acceptable price that the seller is willing to sell the item. Reserve price is shall be higher than or equal to starting price (starting price required field for posting auction) and lower than the BUY IT NOW Price. If the highest bid price at the end of the auction period is lower than reserve price, there is no winning bid, therefore, seller may refuse to sell its material.

    9. Question: Why there is strange code in the e-mail text from AMExchanges.com?
    ANSWER: Due to our server can only support English Language, the code may be cause by other user enter none-English language. If you are Microsoft Outlook user, you may change the language setting by go to VIEW, ENCODING selecting UNICODE (UTF-8). If you continue has problems in reading e-mail after changing the view setting, please contact service@AMExchanges.com

    10. Question: Why did I lose the bid where my max. bid price was higher than the final price?
    ANSWER: Most likely the winning bid is BUY IT NOW. If you are willing to offer a max. bid that is higher than BUY IT NOW price, we strongly recommend our registered users to take advantage of BUY IT NOW feature at AMExchanges.com. If available, any registered user may use BUY IT NOW and become an instant winner without waiting for the auction to close.

    11. Question: How to change my password?
    ANSWER: Please go to MY AMExchanges page, click Edit under My Profile to update your password. An e-mail confirmation will be sent to your registered e-mail address.

    12. Question: How can I update my contact and/or bank information?
    ANSWER: Go to MY AMExchanges page, click Edit under My Profile to update your contact and/or bank information. An e-mail confirmation will be sent to your registered e-mail address. For security purpose, once a registered user change his or her e-mail address, AMEXchanges.com will send e-mail confirmation to both old and new e-mail address.

    13. Question: How to ask seller a question about the auction item?
    ANSWER: Registered User shall sign in first, then go to the auction page, click on Ask Seller Question button under Item Title. Compose your message and/or questions, then click submit. AMExchanges.com will notify the seller to answer your inquiry. Your questions to the seller will be posted at the Auction page.

    14. Question: How to answer prospective bidders’ questions?
    ANSWER: After the bidders submit their questions to you, AMExchanges.com will send you a notification with the bidder questions, you may simply reply that message. Since this is an open auction, bidder question will be posted under item page; however, when answer the question, the seller has the option to make the answer to the public or do not show on the web page.

    15. Question: How to inform potential buyer (I WANT TO BUY listing) that you have the material that he or she is looking for?
    ANSWER: Click the ads (posting), click Contact Buyer Button under the I WANT TO BUY item posting. The system will ask you to sign in if you are not. After sign in successfully, you will see a message box for you to send your private message to the prospective buyer.

    16. Question: How to answer prospective sellers’ questions?
    ANSWER: Sing in, then go your I WANT TO BUY posting page. You shall see the private message from all prospective buyer. You may reply to them by clicking the user ID on the message board. A message box shall be available for you to reply. Once you reply the message, your message shall show on the pages. Please noted, this is a private message only for the eyes of specific buyer and seller who communicate to each other.

    17. Question: If I pay in advance, how can I be sure that I will receive the materials?
    ANSWER: We suggest you to check the date code, have seller send you the picture of the box. Finally, ask AMExchanges.com to help you negotiate payment terms or have AMExhcanges.com hold your partial of the payment for the buyer till you received the good and satisfy with the goods, then AMExchanges.com will release the final payment to the seller. Posting I WANT TO BUY is free of charge, however, there will be a processing fee (3.5% of total purchase with min. of US$100) apply to the buyer once he or she find the goods via AMExchanges.com and AMExcahnges.com facilitate the transaction.

    18. Question: How can I monitor auction without placing a bid at AMExchanges.com?
    ANSWER: Registered User shall sign in first, then go to the auction page, click on Watch this item under Item Title. You may later on monitor this specific auction activities by going to “My Watching” under “MY AMExchanges”.

    19. Question: How can I track all my activity at AMExchanges.com?
    ANSWER: Go to MY AMExchanges, MY AMExchanges enable you to view all of your bids, buying, selling, watch list, I WANT TO BUY list for the past 60 days. MY AMExchanges contains:

    1. My Profile and Bank information.
    2. My Buying include My Current Biding, My Buy in (purchase the item via I WAN TO BUY option), Item I won and Item I did not win.
    3. My Selling including My current Selling and my Selling History
    4. My Watching = Those Auction Item that you want to monitor
    5. My I WANT TO BUY = List of your I WANT TO BUY posting.

    20. Question: Do I need to enter company contact information to register?
    ANSWER: AMExchanges.com is a Business to Business Online Manufacturers store. To build a trust and secure market place, we need to have all registered users to fill out all required fields and our sale staffs will verify all registered users information to ensure data integrity.

    21. Question: How much does it cost to participate the auction?
    ANSWER: The Auction service is free for Buyers. There is no posting fee for seller. The only fee involved is paid for by the Seller, and only if the item sells at or above the minimum price required. The service fee schedule is list below:

    • 15% Service fee for gross winning bid equal or less then US$1000.00
    • 10% Service fee for gross winning bid between US$1000.01 to US$5,000.00
    • 7% Service fee for gross winning bid between US$5000.01 to US$10,000.00
    • 5% Service Fee for the gross winning bid above US$10,000.00.

    22. Question: I can't register at AMExchanges.com unless I enter company information, phone number, company information?
    ANSWER: AMExchanges.com is a Business to Business Online Manufacturers store. To build a trust and secure market place, we required every registered user to fill out all “required field” (in red ink) and our sales staffs will verify every registered user information to ensure data integrity.

    23. Question: How much does it cost to participate I WANT TO BUY?
    A: I WANT TO BUY posting is free of charge to the buyer. There will be a processing fee of 3.5% of total purchase with min. of US$100 per transaction to the buyer.

    24. Question: Can I be a Buyer and a Seller?
    ANSWER: Yes. Most Registered Members are currently acting as both.

    25. Question: How does the shipping work?
    ANSWER: Each Buyer is responsible for arranging the shipping of any Auction Item they win. All auctions are posted for sale "FOB Current/Seller’s Location."

    26. Question: If I win, how fast can I get my material?
    ANSWER: If you win an auction, the Release is delivered within 2 business days of a confirmed receipt of funds. Payment always occurs prior to Release.

    27. Question: If I have a successful auction as a Seller, how fast will I get paid?
    The Buyer has 5 business days to deliver payment to Alliance Magnetics. Then, Alliance Magnetics has 2 business days to deposit the money in your account via wire transfer. However, our average turnaround is 7 business days total. Most Buyers are eager to get the material.

    28. Question: If my material needs to be shipped to Hong Kong for delivery and I do not have warehouse in Hong Kong, can AMEchanges help?

    ANSWER: Yes, however, there is a service fees of US$100.00 per ton of material storage and shipping service (min. of US$100.00 per transaction with US$100.00 increment). You are responsible to clear custom and deliver the material from China to our warehouse in Hong Kong.

    29. Question: I cannot read my emails from AMExchanges?

    ANSWER: Depending on your account preference, AMExchanges would send out emails in your preferred language, such as Simple Chinese. If you could not read emails sent from AMExchanges, i.e. there are weired characters in the email, please change your email client encoding to UTF-8, then the email should be displayed correctly for you to read. If you still have problems, please do not hesitate to contact our customer support.

    30. Question: Can I cancel my membership anytime?

    ANSWER: Yes. However, there are no fees to be a member or receive notifications of AMExchanges auctions in which you may be interested. The only time a fee is ever charged, is to the Seller upon a successful sale at or above their minimum price. There are No Listing Fees at AMEchanges.com
